Crafted from one of the best steels from Takefu in Japan, the Japanese VG-10 steel could be argued as one of the best in the World for hairdressing and barber scissor manufacturing. VG-10 steel is renowned for durability and hardness to ensure our Matakki Scissorsmiths can create the finest, sharpest cutting edges.
A beautiful ornate design carefully carved into each handle makes the Vintage an extremely beautiful and unique scissor. Light-weight, beautifully balanced and super sharp convex cutting edges makes the Vintage Ruby a delight to work with as used by many top hair stylists all over the World.

All B Grade Matakki scissors come with a protective case, oil pen, tension key and cleaning cloth. The cosmetic defects do not affect the cutting performance of the scissor.
