Matakki will not accept liability for injury or damage resulting from the use or misuse of any product purchased from our website whether that use be by trained or untrained personnel. Matakki reserve the right to ask for proof of professional status and refuse the order if we believe you not to be a trade customer.

Whilst Matakki make every effort to provide the free accesories seen in its images across its sales forums, there may be ocassions upon which these are substituted with an item of similar description. This refers to razors and combs which are provided free of charge with selected purchases at Matakkis discretion.

Drop warranties and accesories, may or may not be included with sale or clearance items, Unless specified in the product description.

Where customers payment details cannot be verified or there is a discrepency in payment address this may delay shipment or result in cancelation of orders by ourselves. Customers will be contacted by our sales team in this event. As it is the customers responsibility to provide accurate demographic details Matakki accept no responsibility under such circumstances for shipment delay but may request further information to assist with such matters.

Matakki do not accept responsibility for the unforseeable delay of deliveries or the management of these by our third party courier providers and queries relating to this should be directed to them via their customer service department DHL can be contacted on the following number: 0844 248 0844  quoting your shipping (Waybill) reference number.

Where an item is purchased from a third party distributor of Matakki and not from us the manufacturer directly, communication regarding the purchase should be directed to the point of sale and not ourselves.

Matakki DO NOT authorise work under a drop warranty without presentation of the drop warranty card. The drop warranty is only valid for use within 12 months from the date of purchase and will not be authorised outside of this time.


Should you choose to reject our trade in offer we are not liable for the cost of returning your scissor to you and we will require payment to undertake this. There is a limit of one scissor per trade in transaction. Any offer made under our trade in service is issued as a cash refund or as a store credit applied to your account. If you choose a store credit, this credit is redeemable against a purchase from Matakki.com only and a cash alternative is not available. Clarification regarding terms of use for any discount code will be provided to you on release of our final offer and is issued at the discretion of our management.


When your order is confirmed by us, a contract is formed between us for the supply of your goods. You may cancel the contract on scissors and accesories by notifying us no later than 14 working days after we deliver the goods that you are cancelling the contract and goods must be unused upon return. Please note cancellation of seminars by the buyer must be provided in writing no later than seven days prior to the event. If cancelation is made outside of this time we reserve the right to transfer the funds to an alternative seminar date when available. This is at the absolute discretion of management. Notification of any cancellation must be in writing by either email, fax or letter to our headquarters. For the Purchase of goods or services specified, from the party to whom the purchase is addressed or their representative at the point of sale, The companies Terms and Conditions will be deemed accepted by the buyer regardless of route of purchase upon the first of the following occuring: (a) Seller making, signing, or delivering the goods to the buyer any letter, form,Invoice or other written correspondence being issued; (b) Any performance by the seller to fulfill order provision under the order. Please note that due to the nature of hand crafted items variation to pattern and or coulouring were applicable may occur and this does not constitute as a manufacturing defect.


You may not cancel your contract with us where any manufacturer's seal has been broken. Also, please note that hygiene regulations mean that we cannot accept the return of any scissor, razor or razor blade (or similar item, this list is not exhaustive) that has been used.

If you cancel the contract, you must take reasonable care of the goods from the time you receive them until you return them to us, you must return the product with its original packaging material in original condition, including any free gifts which may have been issued.

If you cancel the contract you must return the goods to us at your own expense, you are also liable for the package's safe return so we suggest a recorded delivery service be used.

If you cancel the contract and do not return the goods as required, we may charge you our direct costs of recovering the goods. If you return goods that are damaged and cannot be re-sold we retain the right to charge for such damage. Refunds will be made to your original payment method, PayPal, credit card or cheque, we will refund your payment as soon as possible and certainly within 30 days of receiving the goods back.


In these terms and conditions, faulty goods means any goods we supply to you that do not conform to the contract.

Faulty goods does not include any goods that are faulty due to fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than in accordance with their intended use, failure to follow the manufacturer's or our instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the prior approval of us or the manufacturer.

You should notify us as soon as possible in the same way as for a returned product if you discover that any goods are faulty goods. Faulty goods will be replaced or repaired according to the manufacturer's instructions providing they are still within the warranty period, this repair or replacement could take up to 21 days.

Products reported as faulty, are required to be returned for inspection at the earliest point from purchase and no later than 14 days , details of how to do this will be sent to you from our returns department once the item has been registered with us.

If you return goods because you think they are faulty, We reserve the right to repair or replace the item at our discretion we may charge you the cost of all transport and our actual costs and expenses in the event that the goods are not in fact faulty goods.


When you return goods to us for any reason;

You must return all items in as new condition, including all accessories provided at the point of sale.

All items are subject to a documented quality control check before shipping.

Returned items for any reason are subject to an inspection by a qualified technician prior to any offer of refund or exchange. 

You must ensure that they are properly and securely packaged and labeled with our address.

You are always responsible for any damage in transit that is due to incorrect or inadequate packaging by you.

You are responsible for any damage or loss in transit where you arrange the transport (rather than using our courier).

Any goods sent back to us without prior company approval will not be refunded, replaced or repaired and any costs we incur for this return will be passed onto the customer.

Returns due to “change of mind” or incorrect size selected by you will require you the customer to cover the cost of any subsequent return to us. Delivery costs for your initial order are non-refundable in this instance and will be retained by us on processing a refund for the item/s purchased.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Our pricing structure is correct at the times the goods are displayed on the website, however they are subject to alteration without prior notice. Prices are inclusive of VAT.

Payment must be made prior to the dispatch of all goods unless you are holding a trade account with us. Payment can be made through the secure website online. If cheques or postal orders are sent, the goods ordered will only be dispatched when the funds have cleared normal banking procedures. All goods remain the property of Matakki Scissors until paid for in full.

Matakki uses PayPal as its online secure payment provider, PayPal and Braintree are one of the world's largest secure providers of Internet based financial transactions. Your order with Matakki will be totally secure making your transaction safe and guaranteed.


Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been dispatched, if you need to cancel please contact us to arrange customercare@matakki.com. There will be a charge of £10.00 for goods returned, to cover re-stocking and credit card fees. Please note cancellation of seminars by the buyer must be provided in writing no later than seven days prior to the event.
