With seven years of experience and a passion for barbering, Zanear is a true master of his craft. He co-owns @MovemenSalons, where he and his team specialize in high-quality grooming.

Zanear has been killing the game, recently he was JUST announced as a member of the Wahl Artistic team! We asked him to dive a little deeper on his recent accomplishments. “One of my proudest moments was being named a Wahl ambassador. This recognition has given me a platform to share my passion for barbering with a wider audience. I hope to inspire others, especially young Kurdish barbers, to pursue their dreams and make a positive impact on the industry. It's a privilege to represent my heritage and contribute to the global barbering community."

I'm passionate about combining classic barbering with contemporary styles, creating looks that are both timeless and trendy. We asked Zanear what most inspires his work, to which he said: "I draw inspiration from a variety of sources, including social media, fashion magazines, and the work of talented barbers and hairstylists. I'm particularly drawn to the artistry of hairdressers, as they often push the boundaries of creativity. I'm always looking for ways to incorporate new trends and techniques into my work, while staying true to my own style."
Zanear also gave some advice for new starters in the industry "Find a mentor who can guide you and offer advice. Seek out opportunities to learn from experienced barbers and hairstylists. Network with other professionals in the industry and build strong relationships. Remember, success is a journey, not a destination. Enjoy the process and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small."
